4.0 · 103 reviewsThis place is awful! The staff is ver rude a d lazy. They treat visitors like crap and get angry when they have to get up to answer the door for you to visit your loved one. They have one good employee and they treat her like crap because she isnt Spanish or part of their family. This place is crap. I need the names of the owner and I am reporting them to AHCA if i can't find out who the owners are.
This is not a place for your loved ones at all. Very filthy with roaches everywhere, understaffed employees and no supplies available when needed. The food that is served never looks appetizing and the smell the building holds is horrible as soon as you walk through the front door. If you’re thinking of joining the community, rethink and run away!!!

My mom was a resident of Savannah Court of Orange City. She fell a lot of times while being there. Even though they had the attendants, they had very little. Maybe during the night, they had one or two. I even had an argument with one of the attendants. She accused me of taking pictures, but I wasn't. I was showing pictures to one of the residents who was eating with my mother because I already knew that's one of the rules, not to take pictures because we don't have permission from the other residents. Some of the staff were nice, and some were not. The upkeep needed more attention, and the food was often cold.
I toured Savannah Court of Orange City. The presence I saw all seemed to be happy and contented, and that's a pretty good measure of the facility. The residents all seem satisfied. The staff was friendly. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. Everything was very well decorated. The place had a clean, fresh smell, with no spiderwebs in the corners. It was pretty nice. I'm very impressed with it. It seemed like they were roomy. They were smallish, but you don't need a lot of space, I think large enough to be comfortable.
We toured Savannah Court of Orange City. It was very clean. We saw the dining room, and it was beautiful. They had a garden, kind of like the center of the community. We walked around. The facility goes around like a square, and then they have a garden in the middle. They have a little game room for families that are visiting. They showed us one of the rooms there. It was furnished. It's a very nice place. We worked with the director and she was very nice.
The director and employees took good care of mom age 94. They spoke Spanish making it easier for mom to understand.
It Was OK. Understaffed. At Least They Give You An Option To Walk Out The Front Door And Get Something To Eat. It's Not Technically A Lockdown Facility. Unless You Have Dementia Or Are A Risk To Yourself Or Others. It Wasn't Too Bad. I Was One Of The Younger Resident There.
