Very impressed by JKV and all it offers. Don't discount how huge being a non-profit organization is for these services and peace of mind on several fronts. Working with Eddie T. was probably the only reason we were able to get my mother-in-law approved and moved in as a resident.

Liz Woodford did an excellent review of the process to join JKV as well as a guided tour of the entire facility, and she did it twice for us as we were two separate families. Though long-term friends we had very different needs and expectations, and she covered them all. She has a depth of understanding of the issues with the choices that extend well beyond what a simple realtor's perspective would be. She was even able to allow us to have a meal within the several restaurant choices so that we could see how residents use the amenities. Thanks so very much for your professionalism and knowledge.

Joe Trainor (chief administrative officer) you should be ashamed of yourself. Not giving access to people who are delivering groceries at the East Graves gate is becoming a problem. You're making delivery drivers go all the way around to veterans to drive all the way around John Knox village to deliver packages and groceries to people who live right next to East Graves gate. Upon driving all the way around to veterans memorial no IDs are checked and it's just a simple question of where you're going. To better solve this issue, if you need to know who has entered you should ask for ID. I advise anybody who lives there to do what they can to make Joe trainer step down unless he changes his mind about deliveries to gates. My father has had three deliveries returned because the drivers are unable to go through the gate on East Graves. My father is elderly and incapable of shopping himself and I rely on delivery services to have what he needs. Shame on you Joe Trainor. Do better!

Eddie Thipphavong - The absolute best friend and guide, the consummate expert to navigating the John Knox Village retirement community!! Without his wonderful, patient, kind and empathetic ways, we’d have been lost!! I wish only that everyone could have an Eddie as their guide, their advocate, their GO TO during this very confusing time. He’s been a life changer, and we are so very privileged to call him - our dear Friend!! EDDIE… we love you!!!

We met with Liz yesterday for an initial tour. She was very informative and was able to answer all our questions. The campus is beautiful and appears to be well maintained.
