Inspired Living Sarasota

Inspired living is a very clean community, the staff members get 10 stars and the activities get 10 stars. The care services that are provided are great but the biggest challenge that everyone is facing is staffing. However anytime we have questions or concerns with our loved one we can call management and the address whatever it is promptly.

We chose Inspired Living at Sarasota for my mom. It's very close to my home, and the people there are very genuine and caring. She is moving on Saturday, and I've been there four or five times. I've observed their interactions with the residents. They've always been kind, respectful, and helpful. I only had cookies there, and they were very good. The facility is beautiful, and it's clean. It's modern in its layout and design. The outside is gorgeous. There's a beautiful courtyard, and there's plenty of room for the residents to feel comfortable.

My visit to Inspired Living at Sarasota was great. They were very nice, the place was nice, and it had the best outdoor facility for people who are high functioning. Everybody was very nice and very knowledgeable. It was great. The facility itself was really nice and beautiful; it looks like a hotel on the inside. They had two different-sized rooms: one was a larger room, and one was a smaller room. The smaller rooms are a little bit small, but they are adequate for somebody who really likes to be out doing social activities. It serves its purpose. The bathroom was a good size, the bedroom area was a little small, but other than that, it was sufficient. The food looks amazing; it's top notch.

I visited six different Memory Care facilities to find the right fit for my father. Inspired Living has a loving and caring staff. They keep the residents engaged with activities to keep their minds active and alert. They also offer “field trips” that the residents really enjoy. The facility feels like a luxury hotel and the outdoor area was by far superior to any of the other facilities I had considered. Lovely walking paths, green grass, beautiful trees and a large gazebo. My father often comments on how delicious the food is and is happy with his new friends. Overall I am very pleased with Inspired Living.

Being person centered means building our days around each individual’s needs, likes and knowing there life stories while keeping alive who they were when then begin to forget. It’s about love, hugs, adding meaning and purpose to their day and meeting them where they are because they can’t meet us where we are. It’s a whole different language. Those with dementia live in moments of time. We can never give them that perfect day but we can give them those perfect moments and that is a good day. I have been with Inspired living going on seven years and I strongly believe in their vision and moral compass, “We care, think, understand and act quickly. We commit to being 1% better every day. We are generous in spirit” I’m proud and honored to serve those who once served us. Having to place my own father in memory care I’ve walked in your shoes.
