this review is to assure each reader here of the tremendous quality of Citrus Health and Rehab in Inverness, FL. my mom is 90 years old, and has been in relatively good health all her life. But a couple of months ago, she experienced an accruement of ailments that really put her 'out of order' by very serious means. She needed to be admitted into a hospital Emergency room, treated for a week, and then transferred to Citrus Health and Rehab for recuperation. For 2 months, Citrus Health and Rehab coupled the help from the hospital in bringing her back from the rink of dying, and restoring her health and strength to better than she has been in years; *and that is no exaggeration*. The immediate emergency dealt with a food infection of some sort, that the hospital doctors took great care to treat. As a consequence of that malady, she lost her appetite, strength, and much weight; which, then caused her to become unable for move, walk, and do any daily functions. (Plus, she had also been suffering from Edema for decades. Of which, needless to say, exacerbated all her other ailments). Over the 2 months that Citrus Health and Rehab worked with her, they literally transformed her life-threatening condition to one of remarkable recovery and vitality; through well ordered therapy, nourishment, rest, and activities. It was also over those 2 months that i became very familiar with the entire facility, as well as all of the extremely professional staff and personnel who worked with her; {from the nurses, to the Activities Director {Melissa}, to the Primary Director of Citrus Health and Rehab [Kerri]}. Each and every one of these care~takers of Citrus Health and Rehab do exactly as their promotional recording magnifies and promises. in~short, all of the staff and personnel of Citrus Health and Rehab truly 'walk their walk, and talk their talk', that they, not only, assure the community of Inverness, but are rightfully proud of. ..now, there are 2ways that i could conclude this review: 1] i could spend an inordinate amount of time, and writing, spelling~out all of the impressive amenities that Citrus Health and Rehab offers patients who need their professional expertise and care.. and then validate for you, each amenity, virtue~by~virtue; *or*, 2] i could simply make this conclusion brief by encouraging all interested readers to call Citrus Health and Rehab, and ask to listen to their recording that highlights all that Citrus Health and Rehab has to offer. {The recording plays should a person be placed on a telephone~hold}. This promotional recording was not only impressively, and very colourfully, produced, but all that it shares *is completely accurate and truthful*. i can directly attest to it. james a.

This place is a absolute nightmare please please DO NOT send your loved ones to this place on the first night of out family member ther he was assaulted and thrown around like a rag doll this is a 88 year old man with heart disease and cancer and he is also a veteran a American hero he served his country and he was treated like a piece of trash by this place they drugged him up so bad he didn’t know where he was or who he was half the time even after they wher told multiple times to stop giving him certain medications then he yesterday I went to see him and he told me he thinks he was having a heart attack so I asked the nurse if he told him he was having chest pains and the nurse confirmed that he did tell him about the chest pains but the nurse never did anything didn’t call911 didn’t call me or my wife we had to call 911 ourselves to get him to the er you people should be ashamed of yourselves you should never be allowed to take care of another human being and you can bet we will be contacting the sheriff department again and will be contacting a lawyer god help the people that are stuck in this place I will not stop until something is done to stop you people from treating other human beings the way you do be watching for a lawsuit
