My best friend moved into the apartments when he could no longer get up and down stairs to the mobile home he lived in and he is legally blind. We were given a wonderful tour and a package of information that explained the rental agreement, what was included and that it was income based with government assistance. It would be 2 years this fall and he is so happy. Galley kitchen, bathroom, large bedroom, larger living room with dining area. Small porch with a door and door off the kitchen to a hallway that leads to all the other amenities too numerous to mention. It's a wonderful place with wonderful staff set in a the City but secluded and feels like you live in the country.
Inverness Club Senior Apartments used to be great. They promise a lot, but they don't deliver. They do not have an activity director. Nobody's here during the evening hours, over the weekend. The kitchen staff is great. They couldn't be any more accommodating, but the administration doesn't listen to you. They can't keep staff here. I have no problem with the food, but I am easy to please. This is an independent living. They do not have any kind of assistance except there is a woman that comes that you can hire. Inverness Club Senior Apartments used to be great. They promise a lot, but they don't deliver. They do not have an activity director. Nobody's here during the evening hours, over the weekend. The kitchen staff is great. They couldn't be any more accommodating, but the administration doesn't listen to you. They can't keep staff here. I have no problem with the food, but I am easy to please. This is an independent living. They do not have any kind of assistance except there is a woman that comes that you can hire. I use her a lot because I need help. Most of their facilities are OK, but their bathrooms are atrocious. I had to pay to have my tub changed to a step-in shower. They had put in tubs and they cut out the side and it was a 10-inch step to get in your shower. There are no seats or anything like that. I put a chair in it. Their bathing facilities are not good at all. Some of them do have walk-in showers but there aren't very many. They have a high school boy who comes and volunteers. The bus driver is doing some of the activities. It's all volunteer. I used to participate all the time when they had an activities director. It is very inexpensive. They have subsidized housing for those people who can't afford.

I am writing to defend myself on the review from Shirley Beatrice It's really odd we have never had a resident here by that name. Maybe this was written by a resident who I had to tell that their apartment wasn't up to the standards set forth by USDA Rural Development with regard to cleanliness and clutter or maybe it is a resident who was bullying other residents that got a warning because of it. For the most part my residents are amazing and abide by the rules and regulations set forth in their lease agreements but once in awhile I have to do my job and enforce the rules and regulations which is usually met by a disgruntled resident. As far as the number of staff we have gone through...I cannot say much accept that I believe people are telling me the truth when they say they have the skills that they do. I've been lied to many times by staff I have hired about their skills. I have a number of long term employees who are happy here. We have an amazing team here of people who truly care for and respect our residents. I will always put my residents first. I will not tolerate anyone who steals, lies or bullies my residents no matter who the person is. I have had to ban two home health personnel from the property based on their behavior and I will do it again if needed no matter the review they write about me.
My friend has a nice one bedroom apartment with walk in shower en suite bathroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen. I have dined with her twice in the dining room. The food is top notch and is prepared beautifully. Everyone at her table has been served remarkable restaurant quality food. The chef there is outstanding. The staff is helpful, responsive and friendly. There is a great attitude here.
My cousin lived at Inverness Club and absolutely loved it. I dealt with Amy and Louise and found them to be very professional and kind. In fact everyone at Inverness Club was everything anyone could ask for. 5 stars from me! Richard Penn
This community is kept immaculate. The people here have been so accommodating. The dining room has been redone and they have a nice menu. They offer numerous times to eat so mom can eat whenever she would like. The apartments are adequate size and include a full kitchen. You pay your own electric bill. They offer low income housing options. We hope things continue to go well at this community.
