My precious mother lived at Savannah Court for almost a year. I visited her several times and was impressed at first, and so was my mom. As time passed, she grew to like it less and began to feel unsafe. She was constantly ignored by the nurses and staff. I was there one day for several hours, and the staff was late in getting a medication to her. She rang the buzzer, and no one came after an hour had passed.Another hour passed, and my mom tried to use the buzzer again. At some point, I went into her bathroom, and a nurse came in. The nurse did not know I was there and began to chastise my mom for using the buzzer. The next day I go in to visit, I go to use my mom's restroom, and the string you pull to alert the staff you need help - had been wrapped around the safety bar next to the toilet. So, if my mom had fallen and was on the ground and pulled the string, no one would be aware.
