Wickshire Tamarac

I am the son of 1 of the tenants living at Colliers at Tamarac. When my mom moved in this past August it was previously named Wickshire Tamarac. This was a new experience for my mom, my wife, & myself. Initially it was a traumatic experience, however after a couple of months passed, I was quite pleased with how my mom seemed more relaxed & at ease with her assisted living facility. Even seems happier now with all the extra curricular activities & such...A long overdue shoutout to Ms. Sahadeo, Ms. Drury, & Ms. Ketton. Thank you for taking care of our mom. I have always believed that Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Hospitals, etc. are very difficult to manage, run, & turn a decent profit at the same time. After having our ownhome for years it was a hard decision to into assisted living. Due to health issues we had no choice. When we visted Wickshire we amazed at the compassion of the staff abs rgey made us feel at home. We have been in here for 1 1/2 years abd because uts nor real bug luke so many orhers we saw, it us like our famuly away from our children. Wwcw net maby friends here and love ir. Mt hysband loves rgat rhere is a Veterans club where he can share and enjoy being wirh other vets of all the services. We would reccomend coming and checking it out. You'll want to call it home.

I recently toured this memory care facility and had an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of safety and peace of mind. What truly stood out was Mrs. Gita—she was incredibly compassionate, patient, and informative. She took the time to understand my concerns and provided thoughtful resources to help guide my family through this journey. Her reassurance and kindness made me feel confident that my great uncle would be in excellent hands here. Because of her, I’m heavily considering this as the right place for him. Thank you, Mrs. Gita, for making such a difficult decision feel a little lighter.

This place took care of my mama with love and caring. The staff is loving and caring. Let me begin to mention all the souls that work so hard to care for our love ones. Restaurant,to Chef Anthony and his crew Elaine, Rosa, Linda, Dee, Mark, Gabriel, Michelle. Maintenance crew,m Alvin, Marisol, Linsky. Entrainment Glennie, Claudine, Novie. It's memory care so hard to really do activities. It's expensive but all inclusive so that makes it a good value. I would recommend Wickshire.
