I was impressed from the moment I called and left a message on a Sunday evening, not expecting a call until the next few days or so. To my suprise, I got a call within Hours from Diann!! In today's world, you are lucky to get to the right location and an actual human to speak with. We chatted for almost an hour and she listened to my friends story and needs. I just moved my very dear friend to the SLW location. I was impressed from the moment I called and left a message on a Sunday evening, not expecting a call until the next few days or so. To my suprise, I got a call within Hours from Diann!! In today's world, you are lucky to get to the right location and an actual human to speak with. We chatted for almost an hour and she listened to my friends story and needs. She made sure she remembered the small things not because she had to but because she truly cares!! I have been there a total of 8 times now and the place is very clean, welcoming and full of happy people everytime. The dining experience is a great plus to get your loved ones around people. So many activities, outings and just a great group of caring people who truly do care! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for home away from home with a care team to take away all your worries so that you spend time enjoying your loved ones when you are together.
Watercrest helped me through a tough time. They were an amazing group of people from top to bottom. The nursing staff was tremendous! They made the uncomfortable comfortable. I haven't had better service from 5 star resorts. The food was not something you would expect from a senior living community. It was true comfort food with high end accents that made me gain weight because I couldn't stop eating it. The activities were plentiful and the business office made everything simple. Even the housekeeping staff was welcoming and made me comfortable. I can't recommend them enough.

She understood my concerns and future needs, answered every question thoroughly and helpfully, and introduced me to a resident, a physician who shared his positive experiences (including having his life saved by staff at Watercrest). My appointment with Diann McDonough today was an exceptional experience. She understood my concerns and future needs, answered every question thoroughly and helpfully, and introduced me to a resident, a physician who shared his positive experiences (including having his life saved by staff at Watercrest). I even met the business manager with whom I share similar experiences with corporate mismanagement. She impressed me with her knowledge and integrity. I was told to visit this facility by a friend who knows it well and told me this is where she wants to be if/when it's necessary - because of the warm and kind people who are both staff and residents. I highly recommend you visit when you are considering a senior living community. So far, it's at the top of my list!

I’m the friend Cathy talked about in her review! This facility is beautiful but what really impressed me and my family was the staff! Diann was amazing and really talked to my mom, made all of us feel welcome and truly cared about my mom’s needs and what she was looking for in her new home. Jennifer was also amazing and took the time to find out about what mom needs in terms of day to day care. Mom will be moving in a few days and I’m sure she will love it. I have piece of mind knowing she will be well cared for. I can’t recommend this place enough!
My mom will be moving into Watercrest soon. Every time we come to visit she leaves so excited for her new adventure. The staff has been extremely welcoming and warm. We are excited for this new home for my mom to move into. The best part for her is having her dog, a lake view and no meals to worry about!
I looked at Watercrest for an older friend about 6 months ago - unfortunately she did not qualify. During the tour I happen to mention that I play bridge with many seniors and that i would keep them in mind should someone need to move into an assisted living facility. I was asked if I would be interested in teaching bridge at Watercrest and I agreed. I have been going every friday for about 4 months which gives me a better understanding of Watercrest. The staff is very kind and helpful. The residents seem to be very happy. One of the things that if found to be extraordinary is the way they arrange meals. The cafe is open from 7 am to 7 pm. There is no assigned seating, the serving staff is very kind and helpful. I ate there two time and truly enjoyed the food. I was lucky enough to see a few different rooms and feel that they give the residents different options. There are many different activities going on which is a nice option. I have looked at many different facilities in Port St Lucie and find that this one is the best for the price. I like it so much that I have another friend who needs to move to an assisted living facility and we have chosen Watercrest. I will do another review after he moves in and how adjustment process was for him
My wife and I were interested in a facilty for the time she will need extra care with coginitive impariment. We toured the facilty , with Ms Diann McDonough, Relations Director who was terrific. She made my wife who was nervous feel at home, provided me with all the details for my wife's future residence. I couldn't be happier with the complex and the staff.
I live 1,800 miles away. I visited six other facilities. I trust my dad’s care to no one else but Watercrest.
