Walton Place Assisted Living

EDIT: Since the assist director left the facility has not been the same. Sadly the employees are in agreement. My mom and I have been having issues with my dads care , have questions on the bills we continue to get and for 2 months we CAN NOT get a response. An appt was finally set for two wks ago - we drive an hour only to find out the director is out and no one called us to advise. Strongly suggest to ask a lot of questions, and keep notes of everything. Chose wisely. My mom and I visited about 9 facilities before deciding on Waldon Place for my 87 yr old dad. On our first visit we were impressed with the outside - clean and well maintained. Upon entering it was very welcoming, and this is where we met Charlotte and Carolina. They were very friendly and were prepared for our visit. Our visit was for the memory care side and even though the facility was quite full the staff seemed to handle the residents well. It was clean, and safe. Some places we had been to didn't have the doors secured so they couldn't walk out. The rooms we saw were large enough to share with a large bathroom. They have a nice cafeteria. My dad as been in the facility over a month, and we have been visiting every week and so far no complaints. He likes playing bingo, and with our permission has been able to attend a resident party. My dad had some personal issues before arriving and we felt it necessary to advise the staff - Lena, the assistant director has been an absolute gem! She has taken calls over the weekend from us and was quick to take action on one occasion. We were also able to sit and meet the Director, Ray, the on call Dr. and the activities director. Also big kudos to McKayla at the front desk - she aways has a smile and greets us the minute we come through the door. Apologies for the long review but in order to give a good review it needs details. Hope this is helpful for any trying to find a place for a loved one.

When our loved one checked in as a resident today, we were warmly personally welcomed and accommodated by Linda, Mikayla, and Hannah. The naturally occuring anxiety our family member had, was set at ease with their genuine encouragement. Thank you

My husband has recently moved into memory care at this facility. ALL of the staff has been wonderful, and so understanding as we navigate through the process. Lena has been fantastic. I feel better knowing he is there and safe.

My dad recently moved in and I am BEYOND thankful for the amazing staff here! They have made this scary transition so easy for all of us. We are not treated like a number, rather they treat us like family. They keep the facility clean and offer so many fun things for the residents to do. I could not be more grateful for this place!

My grandpa has been living in the memory unit at Walton place for a couple months now. The staff is so friendly and seem to take very good care of the residents. It’s always clean and tidy. The kitchen staff is excellent as well and very accommodating. We took our grandpa out of the memory care for the 4th of July and they set us up with a delicious food spread in the conference room. So very sweet and caring!
