Just returned to say thank you again to Mrs. Joni and her team in rehab after I broke my femur bone in my left leg and required intense rehab rehabilitation. Today, Marks two years since my accident and I am walking better today and prior to my injury thanks to them. I would recommend via rehab to anyone seriously wanting to recover quickly efficiently safely and returned back home. Thank you all again.

This facility has been a breath of fresh air for our family during this rough time….. compassion is far and few between. …..My uncle was here for a more than 2 months, we faced good and bad times. The cafeteria and kitchen was “top notch” But the nurses and aid’s really do their best job.So friendly and efficient. Shoutout to an amazing girl Camilla or camille maybe she answered to both…she is a nurse and you can tell she is in the right field, she loved and cared for my uncle like I would at home. marrisa the aid was great too. Im truthfully pretty surprised to see so many glowing 4-5 star reviews about this place. Other sites regarding VHRC not so great and I wish I had read those before we choose this place for our dear friend and neighbor who has no family and depended on our choice. During my 4th of July weekend visit I found out through her (very sound mind) that her teeth had not been brushed for 3 days, face washed for 3 days, wait for toilet is usually 20 min and wait to get off toilet 15-20 min...warm water in her table top cup...no TV clicker for the 6 days she's been there even though she's asked..She had hip surgery a week ago and there is never a pillow under that knee unless we come in to put it there to take the pressure off her hip. My husband is a former family Doc and he too cannot believe the level of care here. Its only been 6 days... we'll wait and see what the next 6 days bring where I am hoping I can repost a more positive review. I am not the only one doing the complaining, her room mate has continued complaints about her husband having to finally shower her and her light above the bed has been broken for days. I have called 3 times now with no call back from the admin until today I did have a liaison (I guess?) call me inquiring about my concerns. After I gave 'my list 'of very reasonable concerns she all but hung up on me saying... we'll look at all of this with the team...good bye. As I say, not impressed at the least right now 1 week in.... but am open to them listening with a caring ear and rectifying these very reasonable concerns soon...then I will be glad to re-post, Concerning Friend, Christine

It has some wonderful employees and some that are not. That’s to be expected. Tried to get saline on his O2 machine since day 3-4. Nurse was excellent on trying but it never happened since the part she ordered never came in. In turn he kept having bloody noses. The Pt and Ot dept the best. Food good he liked it. Place kept clean which is great. All in all it was fine.

The staff are accommodating, helpful, pleasant and professional. The facility has a well groomed look and definitely tidy. It does not have that characteristic smell that often greets people as you walk through the hallways. What I did encounter was several hand sanitation wall devices not having any hand sanitizers in the dispenser. The front door was empty and a few in the corridors were out.
