I have had the pleasure of attending a few amazing events at the Princess Martha. The place is beautiful It is so rad I wish they would lower the age limits so I could move in. Beautiful historic St Pete building, awesome food, and even better is the Staff. Maggie Brazill hosts so many exciting events, and all the residents LOVE her which tells me everything I need to know. She is so warm and inviting,. If you ever have the opportunity to attend an event at the Princess Martha, it is a MUST and you have to go You can thank me later. And be sure to ask for Maggie, she is hands down the BEST
I’ve had to opportunity to visit the Princess Martha and meet some of the residents through community events! It is a beautiful building with such rich history. Maggie goes above and beyond for the residents there. She does an amazing job bringing creative, fun events for both the residents and involves the local community! She puts a lot of time, effort and care into the events. She treats the residents with genuine care and compassion, and it shows in the relationships she builds with those who live there and their families. Thank you Maggie for all the ways you care!

I recently had the pleasure of attending one of the resident events at The Princess Martha, and I left incredibly impressed. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and ideally located in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, with easy access to parks, restaurants, and shops. The second-floor pool area is fantastic and thoughtfully designed for residents to enjoy. What truly sets The Princess Martha apart, though, are the people. Maggie Brazill is an absolute ray of sunshine. She lights up every room she walks into, and her passion for the residents is impossible to miss. She goes above and beyond every day to make sure everyone feels loved, valued, and truly at home. Wendy is equally amazing, and together they create such a fun, caring, and engaging environment. The event I attended was wonderfully organized, with festive decorations, delicious refreshments, and plenty of opportunities for residents to socialize and have fun. After talking with several residents, one thing became very clear—they genuinely love living at The Princess Martha and spoke so highly of the care, activities, and sense of community that Maggie and Wendy help create. If you're looking for an independent or assisted living community where residents are treated like family and encouraged to stay active, engaged, and happy, I would highly recommend visiting The Princess Martha. It's easy to see why so many people love calling it home.
Maggie & Wendy bring so much joy to their residents, and they can definitely throw a great party! I actually attended a happy hour at The Princess Martha years ago, and it was so much fun. Everyone was dancing and genuinely enjoying themselves. The history of The Princess Martha is really cool, too. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful, and if I lived there, I’d be out on the pool deck every day! Even though I didn’t get to see the recent jazz band performances in person, I saw videos on social media, and the Pride drag show looked amazing. I would absolutely recommend The Princess Martha to my loved ones and friends. The downtown St. Pete location is a huge perk, too!
Maggie Brazill is definitely a great part of the Princess Martha. It doesn’t take long seeing just how much the residents adore her. As I spoke to many of the residents following the Pride event, her name was always mentioned with positivity and love. She is truly a big asset to this great community.
The Princess Martha is an amazing part of St. Petersburg's history. It's sitting right in the middle of downtown, and most people don't even know it's there. This independent living retirement community, is nothing like anything you've ever seen. It's a beautiful historic hotel, where Babe allegedly Ruth signed one of his baseball contracts, walking distance to everything in downtown St. Pete, with a rooftop pool, and three meals a day served in the historic ballroom. Maggie Brazill has done an amazing job of opening this up to the community and hosting numerous community events so that we have a chance to mix, mingle, and learn from the residents who have varied and vast life experiences. This is a one of a kind experience and unlike any retirement home I've ever set foot in before. If you want a unique experience and want to live or have a loved one who wants to live in an independent and vibrant community, contact Maggie for a tour. There is a rumor that they also allow vacation stays for short periods of time, and you might be able to book it even if you're less than 55 years old, opening up extraordinary experience for friends and family who come visit St. Pete. If you haven't been to the Princess Martha, you need to find an event or book a tour with Maggie, if only check it out just for the history. Of course, you can also live in this St. Pete gem, too.
I recently had the opportunity to photograph an event at Princess Martha, and I came away genuinely impressed. The first thing that stood out was how joyful and engaged the residents were. There was a real sense of community and support throughout the building. Just as impressive was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. That kind of positive culture says a lot about an organization and creates an environment where residents can truly thrive.
