Even though I live here alone now, without my precious husband who passed almost 4 years ago, I have a nice, safe, comfortable, and peaceful home with plenty friends and activities to keep me busy and active. Thank you, Waterman Village!
the staff here is wonderful! They treat my mom like she is their sister . love and caring along with A1 skills continues for mom. We feel so fortunate to have this place available to us.
My father spent 9 months at Springwater with dementia and several other serious health issues. My wife and I felt very comfortable with the facility and all staff members. Dads room was very nice, he called it "his apartment". The facility is clean, comfortable and laid out nicely, with lots of room to move around and even go outside in a secure courtyard. Every staff member we encountered instilled confidence in the details and level of care my father was receiving. They also do occasional outings outside of the facility for further stimulation. My father was happy there. It was his "Home away from Home". Too many names to list, but the entire staff deserve recognition for "Jobs well done". The Oaks at Waterman Village in Mt Dora was the perfect place for my parents to retire. They moved to the community 12+ years ago. Mom lived there another 10 years after my dad passed. She had a wonderful villa with an outdoor bird-watching space and a beautiful garden with her favorite plants. The two-bedroom offered space for our out-of-town family to visit, a fully equipped kitchen, and a covered space for her car. She loved the convenience of shopping, her church, and her local family. Community activities, home health care, and friendly faces, both staff and management, were available when needed. It was a wonderful place to make friends and live your best life.
A friend took me to lunch and visited all the bldgs on both sides of the road. An amazing place to live!
