(Grout on floor needs scrubbed- it is black. Also, I reported the far bathroom floor needing addressed 2 different days, & it still remained dirty). 0 star if you are “independent” & need medical help. My mother in law had super high blood pressure & the nurse said she could not call the paramedics because she was “independent”, vs “assisted” living. Thankfully we were there! 0 star If you have any pets & have a medical condition that requires hospitalization. They have nothing in place to help care for the animal(s) while you’re gone. Nothing. You must figure it out yourself. Also, today when I was there caring for MIL’s cat, one of the main admins (who my MIL likes & is very friendly with) saw me & didn’t even ask about my MIL’s well being at all. I found that sad. I feel some of the staff feels annoyed that I’m advocating & asking questions. I’m not trying to be bitter, I genuinely hope this honest feedback can help them improve in areas that are lacking for residents sake. This place is very expensive so my expectations are high.

The community is exceptionally clean, open, and spacious, making it very easy to navigate, and when you step outside, everything is centered around a beautiful, central park-like area that feels welcoming and vibrant. From the moment we walked in always, both my family and I were greeted with warmth and kindness. Everyone has been gracious, friendly, and genuinely happy to see us—and when we bring our kids, residents and staff alike smile, joke, and make them feel welcome. The food is excellent, and overall, I truly can’t say enough good things about The Grove at Countryside.
Just move in. Great place. Rooms are wonderful bright. Lobby is beautiful with chandeliers and piano. Dining rooms are great. The food is great! Prime rib tonight!!Staff is wonderful! You can see how they enjoy working here. Nurse on duty twenty four hours a day. I can say we both love it here. I highly recommend you live here when the time comes.I’m sure you will enjoy!

Moving our grandmother into this community has been such a smooth and positive experience, and a huge part of that is thanks to Emily, the Marketing Director. From the very beginning, she made the whole process incredibly easy and stress-free. Emily's caring, kind, and compassionate nature really stood out, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the people she works with. The community itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I’m so grateful for Emily's help—she made us feel confident that this was the perfect place for our grandmother. Truly a top-notch experience!
I came to deliver a nebulizer for a resident. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Kathleen Kane and another worker went out of her way to help me and it is such a beautiful place
How can the situation at The Grove be getting worse??? Just ask the residents!!! It is now September 2025 and the turnover in staff is HEADSPINNING!!! Chef Moss is gone! The food is hit or miss! The dining room is a MESS! Literally! The tables do not get bussed! Walk in at any given time and you will find a half dozen or more dirty tables! The dining room itself closes early. They quit for dinner at 6:00 which is ridiculous, but walk in at 10 till and your will be denied dinner!!! And the waitstaff are not great. The bus driver quit! They finally got a van in JULY and the "robust outings" were to the grocery store or doctors appointments and now those options are no longer available! The second activity director is gone! The front desk person is filling in as an exercise instructor. Rumor has it that all or most of this is due to the low wages that they pay their staff, which is not fair to the staff or the residents! Most of this I have witnessed first hand when visiting my friend. All of these are facts relayed to me by my friend! Hopefully, this review can be seen publicly as my last review is gone! A dear friend of mine lives at the Grove and has been very disappointed. The online advertising promises an exceptional dining experience, which has been lacking, and complimentary transportation, which is nonexistent. There isn't a bus for individuals or any outside group activities. The facility is beautiful and the staff are accommodating - to the best of their ability. The gym and physical therapy are good and the residents are very nice, but overall, my friend feels that promises were made that have not been kept! ADDENDUM: The Response from The Owner is a MISREPRESENTATION OF THE FACTS!!! The Grove DOES NOT "take them on group outings and have a robust transportation schedule." THEY DO NOT HAVE A VAN OR BUS!!! As for the food...just ask the residents!!!
