The Gardens of Lake Alfred

I recently had the opportunity to spend time at this facility, and I was genuinely impressed by the way it’s operated. Tara, the Executive Director, runs a tight ship while still maintaining a warm, resident-focused environment. The staff were attentive and professional, and you could feel that residents were well cared for and respected. The facility was clean, organized, and had a calm, welcoming energy. It’s clear that strong leadership makes all the difference — and Tara delivers that. This is a place where I’d feel confident placing a loved one.

Thanks to the dilligence of the PCP at Lake Alfred , the nurse’s expertise My husband is alive today Their care is exceptional The meal unfortunately there’s no special diet , it’s one meal for all The client must learn to control their own. The rooms are pretty expensive The cleanliness could be better and control How resident keep their room and the Recreational area. The kitchen personnel Need to show more humanity

I went to visit my mom yesterday for the first time I felt really good about seeing the fire department next door so if my mom could get help quickly the place looks really good from the outside and the lobby area but when you get upstairs where my mom is it bad and I do mean very bad I seen red bags of trash in the hallway and when I got to my moms room I saw old blood on the floor it’s very nasty if I could have given it a zero star I would have

I cannot get this company to pay their bill. I know they have had some change over in the payable department but I have emailed and mailed invoices to them, way too many times to count, & they still refuse to pay us. UPDATE: I was told (around August/September 2023) that our issue was at the top of the to do list and that we would be getting a check for all unpaid invoices soon and we still haven't received anything. I have mailed all open invoices (again) with a note attached stating what I was told and have not heard anything from anyone. I left a review on their FB page & the reviews were turned off soon after.

The admission experience was one of the best. The admission staff went above and beyond to ensure the resident’s needs were met. On admission day all departments met with resident to orient facility policies. Medication could be dispensed in a more timely manner, facility cleanliness could be improved, but overall the service is above average compared to other facilities. Maintenance staff work hard and have completed requests in timely manner. Administration is receptive to questions and resident issues. Admission Coordinator was extremely helpful during admission process. She worked very hard to ensure the facility was prepared to meet resident requirements on day of admission.
