The Encore at Boca Raton

My blind mother, Hella Sanmiguel, was recently discharged from the Boca Regional hospital and admitted to short-term rehab at The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Home , and I cannot say enough about the exceptional care and support we’ve received. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and kindness, it truly sets the tone. The nursing team has been incredibly attentive and compassionate, and I would especially like to recognize Sylvanie Ribeiro for her outstanding care. The physical and occupational therapists have also been wonderful, treating my mother with patience, dignity, and genuine compassion every step of the way. A very special thank you to Business Manager Susan Semeraro, who guided me through the complex paperwork and process during such a sensitive and overwhelming time. Her patience, grace, and willingness to take the time to explain everything made a world of difference, she was truly a light during a very stressful moment. I also want to recognize Mordy Schwartz, who has checked in with me multiple times to see how both my mother and I are doing. His kindness and continued support have meant so much, always reminding me that he’s available for anything we may need. For someone who is blind, transitioning from home to a care facility can be incredibly scary and disorienting. Yet within just two days, my mother felt comfortable and at ease. The team ensured she is eating well, guiding her through everything, and supporting her without hesitation or complaint. As I begin to explore long-term care options, I feel much more confident and prepared thanks to our experience at The Encore at Boca Raton. It would truly be my hope to keep my mother here long-term. I am deeply grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and dedication shown by the entire team.

If you are reading this and considering a nursing rehab for your loved one, go no further. My husband has been in Encore Rehabilitation for awhile now and the care is phenomenal. The moment you enter Encore you are greeted with a staff that absolutely has the patients care a priority. Soon afterwards , when you enter Encore, you will be greeted by friends. I have not encountered one person without a smile on their face and compassion in there being. Which brings me to Syl and Collette. I shall call them the Dynamic Duo. If your loved one is lucky enough to have either one of these fantastic ladies take care of them, you will not need to worry about quality of care. My husband has been in several rehab centers and Encore surpasses each and everyone. Please, do not hesitate about chosing Encore of Boca Raton.

Mordy and Jay the concierge have been wonderful the are very quick to answer my requests when I have them. The CNA Collette is extremely patient, nice, and empathetic. My stay would not have been the same without her. The chef Marquese was very attentive to meeting my food accommodations. Everyone in physical therapy is very helpful as well. I would highly recommend the Encore to anyone in need of a rehab.

The staff at Encore at Boca is nothing short of amazing!! From the ladies at the front desk to the folks that run the establishment, everything is top notch!!
