The staff at Sumter Senior Living has been beyond amazing through the entire process of starting with a general inquiry to moving in and now daily life. They are kind, always available and very qualified. The facility is extremely clean, the food is delicious with many different options to choose from and the atmosphere feels like resort living. We are very happy to have found a facility that fits all of our needs.

My review of Sumter Assisted Living Facility My name is Ivan Belitz. I have been living here since August of 2024. It is located at 1550 Killingsworth Way, The Villages, Florida. It is part of Grace Industries which has assisted living facilities all over the country. This facility is a wonderful place to live. They serve 3 meals a day in a lovely dining room. The food is good and the servers are very good. They also have a bistro on the main floor which has snacks 24 hours a day. They clean my room once a week cleaning, changing my bedding and doing my laundry. T They have many activities during the week including daily trivia, singers 3 days a week, a movie theater with movies 7 nights a week, games such as bingo twice a week, Derby races twice a week, corn hole once a week, hangman once a week and much more. The activity director's name is Kay and she arranges all these activities There is a gym on the first floor and a library. There are nurses and, nurse assistants on all 3 floors. There are doctors that come all week. there is a beauty parlor in the build They have a pharmacy where you can call 5 days a week and get your RX's delivered the same day. They also have a tech person named Ty who is our tech person. She services our computers, printers, i-phones, T. V's and much more. The people at the front desk are wonderful also. The director's name is Mica and she is great. She has an office on the main floor next to the gym. They have workers 7 days a week that make repairs, if necessary, all week. This place is a beautiful place to live in. It has a circular driveway with a portico and benches outside to sit on. There is a sidewalk around the building for walking with lovely shrubs, trees, and flowers. They have a large overhanging roof to park your cars and golf carts. There is a dog park also. Because it is located in the Villages you have access to all their facilities which includes over 80 rec centers with pools and all sorts of clubs and activities. There are over 700 holes of golf (there are 2 golf courses right behind our building). A ton of restaurants with every type of food along with 5 town squares that have bands every night from 5 to 9 p.m. The squares have all kinds of shops. Our bus services take us to doctor appointments. They also take us to Walmart every Monday and Publix on Fridays.

I’ve been going to Sumter Senior living for many years now. I have had the honor to care for many of their residents throughout the years. Just recently, I met with two families to discuss a higher level of care for their loved ones. Each family was very adamant about the great care that they’re receiving. One family, stating that the kindness did the team has showed their loved one has been like no other. The other emphasize their constant communication With updates on their loved one since the family lives out of state. They were very direct by mentioning Victoria the director of nursing, Mel, Nithira, and Brittany. This team with their impeccable work ethic, never ceases to impress the families that have trusted them with their care. I encourage you to stop in and speak to Tanya and the team. You can see for yourself, what a great community this truly is.
Sumter Senior Living has it all! If you are looking for a top notch place to call home look no further than! They have it all, from independent, living, assisted, living, and memory care. This is a beautiful place to call home. But so many amenities and things to do throughout the day. There are always activities going on anytime you walk through the door! The staff are absolutely amazing The care compassion that is shown to the residents at Sumter Senior Living is above and beyond Such an amazing team! Love this place! As a healthcare provider, I have had the pleasure of working with Senior Sumter Living directly and have been consistently impressed by the level of care provided to their residents. The nursing staff is truly amazing—compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to each individual’s well-being. The therapy team, front desk, activity team and med techs are equally outstanding, always working together to support residents and improve their quality of life. It is clear that the entire team genuinely cares for their patients, and that's what makes all the difference!
