They take the time to decorate the facility for the different holidays and organize activites to keep the residents engaged. Most of the staff, if not all of them, have been there for some time. All the staff are accessable whenever you have a question. Near the end of my mother's life they called in Hospice to better serve her needs. Once again an amazing staff. My 96 year old mother was in Summerfield Suites for 10 months. Although she was extremely difficult to deal with they were very patient and caring. They take the time to decorate the facility for the different holidays and organize activites to keep the residents engaged. Most of the staff, if not all of them, have been there for some time. All the staff are accessable whenever you have a question. Near the end of my mother's life they called in Hospice to better serve her needs. Once again an amazing staff. You can feel confident your loved ones are getting the care they need. My mother was in three facilities in almost three years and this was by far the very best one.
Toured this facility for mom with Tammy and she was great very caring and lovely facility

From the beginning of the process finding the right place for dad to the service and compassion while he was there to the close out process when dad needed the next level of Skilled Nursing support, Summerfield Suites and their staff were all we could of asked for. Thank you all for the past few years!
My 97 year old mother lived in Summerfield Suites Assisted Living until she passed recently. Tammy and the entire staff at Summerfield Suites are to be commended for the outstanding caring treatment they provided my mother throughout her stay. It was particularly challenging at the end, but Summerfield Suites never wavered in their compassionate care. Tammy is not only a genuinely loving and caring person, but also the hardest worker I observed. Don't look any further, this is the right spot!!
Good service and price
My dad has Dementia and was not in a safe, positive environment at home. A family member put me in touch with Tammy at Summerfield Suites. After talking with her and explaining the severity of his situation, she agreed to take dad in and quickly made accommodations for him to be relocated. He has went from a state of neglect and rapid decline to thriving in his new home. In just two weeks, the staff has him eating all of his three meals a day and rehydrating to the levels that he needs to be at. We have a great home health company (Accomplished Home Health) that works hand in hand with Summerfield Suites to provide physical therapy and other needed services right at the facility. Doctors from a local service visit the residents several days each week. It is awesome to not have to upend dad’s days with trips to offsite locations. With this support, dad has been taken off of unneeded medication and is sitting and walking much better than before. He is getting stronger everyday and even though his mind is slipping, he is not foggy and is having daily conversations with the staff and other residents. We are so thankful for everyone at Summerfield Suites and like Tammy says “ We are family here”. We see this with every visit. It is a blessing for our father to be with such professional and caring people!
We had my dad at WaterCrest Buena Vista and he constantly was having challenges. We moved him to Summerfield Suites and the service, compassion, and attention from ALL of the staff has been amazing. Tammy has been a delight to work with and the entire staff has done a great job with Dad. He raves about the food. Summerfield Suites has been a God send for our family. Highly recommended!
