Seaside Health and Rehabilitation Center

Talk about bogus! This place is far from a rehabilitation center. Beware...They changed their name just recently to hide behind previous allegations.. "The Manor on the Green" I was terrified from the second I arrived. I have complex PTSD but they were supposed to know that I also have panic disorder. I was coming in with with severe back pain to the point where I couldn't wiggle my toe and stay at the hospital and help me immensely and they wanted me to continue my path with this place. I did my best but as I entered I was terrified. It looked to me like a bunch of barracks. Very though lighting the employees would gather in different places during the night and then have a party it sounded like because they were so loud there was no way I could sleep. I started crying about 3:00 a.m. because the pain was so incredibly bad, I could not stand it. The nurses told me that my orders didn't come over yet so they couldn't give me anything except Tylenol. And then they walked away and I wouldn't see another nurse for a couple hours and I continued to cry and cry and cry because I didn't know what else to do. I was scared I felt stuck in that place. I was having flashbacks from other things that have been through and I just needed to get out. Returning to my room I was laying flat on my stomach. My hemorrhoids were exposed as I had grade 3 and that's what happens. I specifically remember my nurse at Advent Health Daytona on the phone with someone which I would assume. Is you telling you every single tiny detail about me? And one thing was she has really bad hemorrhoids. If this place knew I was coming why did they not have anything? The nurses kept saying they had nothing. It was all in the storage closet and it was locked. We had to wait until 8:00 when somebody got there to unlock it. Yeah well 8:00 came and went and it was just bogus information. The people on the next shift knew nothing about it. They knew nothing about me needing had more and cream and you're nothing about what happened in the evening. Just like completely different people. Some people wore uniforms. Some people wear jeans seem they just wore what they wanted. It was very difficult to tell the difference between professional Doctor and nurse by heart

Our family will forever be grateful to Seaside Nursing and Rehabilitation for the loving care they provided our father during the last five months of his life. In a time filled with uncertainty and emotion, Seaside became a place of comfort, dignity, and compassion. His CNA, Cachet, was truly an angel in his life. She cared for him with tenderness, respect, and unwavering dedication. Knowing she was by his side brought us immeasurable peace. We also want to thank Joe Coleman, Director of Social Services, whose steady communication and support helped guide our family through every stage of his care. His quick responses and thoughtful updates meant more than he may ever know. We wholeheartedly recommend Seaside for their remarkable caregivers, strong communication, and genuine commitment to patient well‑being. We take great comfort in knowing our father’s final months were spent surrounded by people who truly cared for him.
