dad is staying at the Cottage, they are so helpful from assisting with is transistion to the Cottage to caring for his well being on a daily basis. The staff is always accessible ( even after normal business hours ), including Barbara the administrator, and replies quickly to requests for information and process issues. Communication with the family is vital to helping with dad’s illness and I am grateful they for their understanding of this important aspect of the service they provide. I love the focus on activities often for the residents and attention to their needs. The facility is clean, the menus are well planned. The staff are well aware of the difficulties with this type of illness and appear to be genuinely concerned and try to make it as easy for the resident to have the best quality of life possible with this illness and the family

The management team goes above and beyond to ensure residents receive high-quality care, and the staff is both friendly and dedicated, always willing to go the extra mile. Having worked in healthcare for over 17 years, I can confidently say that Savannah Cottage is an excellent choice for memory care. It’s more than just a facility—it’s a place that feels like home.

The hardest thing I had to do was to come to the realization that my daddy needed to be in an ALF. It took me three months to find one that met my expectations. When I drove into the parking lot of Savannah Cottage of Lakeland, I knew I had come to the right place. It’s nice and clean, the staff is awesome - they really show they care about him and the other residents. They’re very attentive to them - the other residents are nice and my daddy loves it there. He always tells me that he feels safe there. One thing I really appreciate is, my dad started out wanting to stay in his room and eat but they have gradually encouraged him to come out and eat with the other residents and he’s finally starting to do it. I’m grateful that I took my time to find the right fit for my dad. He’s happy and I’m happy too😊😊

I can’t express how happy I am with everything about Savannah cottage. When I learned that my dad needed specialty memory care and was guided to the Cottage I found that the staff and facilities would be best suited to provide excellent care for him. I have since then become more acquainted with the caring staff and their attention to needs of my dad, as well as the communication provided to me that I am sure this was the right choice. I highly recommend Savannah Cottage for your loved ones care.

Savannah Cottage is such an awesome place. My husband is in the memory care section. They are doing everything humanly possible to help him accept his dementia which is not an easy task. (He thinks there is nothing wrong with him.) I can't say enough about the staff. They are fantastic, & really care about the patients. The place is also very clean. Barbara Brown the Director is fantastic, as she goes above & beyond helping the patients & their families. I would highly recommend Savannah Cottage for anyone who is looking for a place for a loved one with dementia. You Will Love It Too. Being a caretaker for someone with dementia was difficult for me. I'm so glad he is at Savannah Cottage being taken care of by professionals. Thank you all so much for everything you do.
