My father suffered an acute illness in the fall of 2020 that worsened his dementia and required transfer to a memory-care assisted living facility. It was an incredibly stressful time for all of us due to COVID and I was unable to even travel down to FL to visit him in the hospital as no guests were allowed. We were so lucky that a spot opened for him at Royal Palm. From the beginning, Emmie and the rest of the staff have gone above and beyond to help with the transition and allay my fears. My father has been there for over two years now and I have been able to visit. The facility always smells CLEAN. And my father is always happy. He thinks he is living in a hotel! He loves the food and goes on and on about how delicious it is. The fact that he is able to move around the gated grounds and spend time out in the sunshine is incredible and keeps his mood up. The staff are incredibly supportive and help arrange necessary doctor's appointments. When my father developed abdominal pain, they had him evaluated immediately and the nurse, JoAnn, who is amazing, called 911. He ended up having appendicitis! Emmie was helpful navigating that hospital stay and assisting with the return to Royal Palm after the surgery. I cannot recommend Royal Palm highly enough!

The Royal Palm Senior Residence saved us at a time when I was not prepared to take care of my husband at home after his fall and a month’s stay in a rehab hospital. From my first contact with the administrative staff, I knew we were in good hands. She was responsive, caring and quickly guided us through the application process. I liked that the Royal Palm did not look or feel institutional. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The meals are home cooked, ample, and very tasty. There is a center courtyard garden with palm trees and colorful plants. It’s a peaceful place where residents can sit quietly or chat with fellow residents and visitors. I saw residents with individual needs and personalities being treated with such patience and kindness. The overall feeling I got was here are people who are competent, caring, and dedicated to the important services they provide. I can’t say enough how thankful and grateful we are to everyone who helped us at the Royal Palm.
The facility is very cozy and easy for elders to get accustomed to quickly. It is very homey and the entertainment room is like the living room of a family house. The staff is very cordial and gentle to the residents. My brother enjoyed the tv and also the art class. We still have a picture that he painted with the staff's help that we are all very proud of. The food is like home cooked and very enticing. All in all it's a nice transition from home.

This is a smaller facility with a hands-on approach to their residents and the upkeep of facility. I always found it clean during my unannounced visits. The courtyard has a calming tropical nature to it and was always a favorite area for me. The property is well-maintained inside and out. The rooms that I saw were mostly shared rooms with private bathrooms for each room. The staff were always welcoming to any requests that I had. There is an inside dining area and an outside (covered) dining/meeting area where special events are held. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the operation of this facility.
RPSR provides excellent care from friendly and dedicated caregivers. It is comforting to know that our loved one is given the personal attention that she requires. The atmosphere at the facility is cheerful and welcoming. We can always rely on the administrator to keep us informed.
I placed my father here in an emergency situation. Due to dementia this was not an easy transition for my father. Emmie was so helpful and patient while working out all the details and the staff were really wonderful trying to ease his agitation. I live out of state and they are so great at sending pictures of him participating in crafts or dancing to the live music now that he has settled in.
I’ve been to Royal Palm many times and I could say, this place is always welcoming and pleasant and clean. Not only I had witnessed how the members of staff cared and loved my friend’s aunt, I also noticed how compassionate they were. They treated her like she was family. I love this place!
My Mother was a resident at Royal Palm for 3 Years. We chose this place because of the warm and cozy environment. It has a beautiful courtyard filled with fountains and exotic plants where the residents can sit and enjoy the sunshine and the sights and sounds. Most of the staff have been there a long time and are very attentive to the residents and their needs. Any concerns are dealt with immediately. The rooms are very comfortable and kept very clean. Royal Palm offers different activities for the residents such as Bingo, Music Sing-a-longs, exercise, and arts and crafts, My Mom was happy there and we felt very confident with the care that she received while she was a resident there.
