So I decided to leave, I have pain meds at home. And am able to walk myself. I also had a roommate who kept the room like a sauna, I would have stayed if I had a private room. Bottom line. I recommend this facility for those that still need nursing…

I visit my mom at Life Care of Palm Bay several times a week. I am happy to say everyone there is so friendly and cooperative. Requests are promptly responded to, my Mom loves everyone which tells me they are all nice and kind to her and that means everything. There are always activities for the residents to participate and all geared towards improving their health and at the same time they are very entertaining. I would recommend Life Care of Palm Bay to anyone looking to place a loved one.
My mom has been there for a couple of weeks now. She's very happy. Everyone has been very nice and attentive. She's getting everything she needs and getting stronger everyday.

This facilities employees are obviously not trained to care for patients with dementia. Either they simply don't care or it's understaffed. I visited a friend earlier this afternoon. She was in bed with her lunch sitting on a table . As I walked in, she was struggling with a slice of lemon meringue pie. Her meat, carrots, potatoes and roll were untouched. If I hadn't physically fed her she would not have eaten. Patients in the dining room were given more attention. I personally would never recommend Life Care since I personally had issues some 16 years ago when my sister was a patient.
Went to LCC of Palm Bay for a tour of the facility with Glenda, who was very pleasant and informative. It is bright and open, clean and well-maintained. Lots of staff, for a Saturday. Lots of residents “out and about” engaged in various activities, including queuing up for ice cream. The outdoor courtyards are lovely. The secure memory care wing did not have that “locked up” feel I have seen at some other places.
I have been going to this Life Care center for a few years now to visit a resident and everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I always see the activity room full of participants. The ice cream lady is especially friendly too as well as the greeting staff when you enter the lobby. Its name says it all - a life “caring place” to be!
Life Care center is clean with friendly atmosphere. My mom is well care for. I have been impressed with the care provided. I am thankful for all the staff at Life Care Center of Palm Bay.
Very Clean and comfortable for residents. In consideration of 2 other facilities in the area where my elderly father stayed, LCC was not without a few issues, but I would consider LCC a 5 star stay in comparison.
