Leeward Isle Homes

George Delahoz and Karen Leeward were readily available to help me from the moment I had to quickly find an Assisted Living home for my mother with three days notice. I was so relieved to know she had a safe, caring place to go. My lovely mother spent over four months in the care of the most loving, attentive caregivers I have seen in my long, professional nursing career. On top of that, my father similarly required urgent placement, which they promptly resolved. Not only did my parents celebrate their 70th anniversary together, but they spent their last three weeks together reunited, holding each other, and leaving me and my siblings content knowing they were safe and happy. We had so many spontaneous visits at all hours of the day and night, and always found the environment clean, safe, pleasant and calm. My father passed on September 21st and his lovely bride passed 18 days later as I held her hand and watched her take her last breath. I will always remember the staff, the room, and the valuable communication with updates and immediate responses to any concerns during one of the most trying, but rewarding and spiritual moments of my life.
