“Most importantly, [name removed]is very happy at Lakeshore Manor at Lake Jackson & has adjusted very well. The staff is very kind to her & helps her with meds, showers. An area Lakeshore can improve is communication to me. I would like to receive a copy of activities & quicker response to my calls & emails”

The director is an awful man and I have seen and heard him not nice to the seniors . He parks his car in the senior drop off area everyday right directly under the NO PARKING ANY TIME SIGN . Ron does not care !! He is not a nice man . I was 23 days late with payment after the money man was out with surgery and they were going to evict my 91 year old mom !! They have no activity director no bingo board becuz of money !…

Lakeshore use to be a nice place food was good and facility was great . NOW The food is horrible and the seniors walk away from there meals it’s all garbage food no nutrition. Ignoring residents is a regular occurrence at this facility. Using "I'll be there in a minute" to memory care patients & never returning, hoping they will ultimately forget. They are understaffed! The ladies who work in the evenings are still in HIGH SCHOOL!!!! Guests frequently have unnecessary injuries from preventable falls if the staff was paying even one bit of attention. They are too busy on their cell phones to care! What a joke!
They needed a new director and I think they have gotten a good one and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Lakeshore Manor community to other families.

Stairwells need cleaning. No real nurse on premises and for assisted living they can't even take a residents covid test in stead they let them infect each other. Some individuals get a 5. They run out of milk - cereal and toast should always be an option for breakfast when having fish offer a second option as not everyone likes seafood some might like a simple peanut butter sandwich's. I guess the activities are a 5 as they seem offer a number unfortunately my mother doesn't participate. Better option then most in the area see above comments

The staff are great ! I I have some very nice friends we play cards every day. I lost my husband a few weeks before I moved in and everyone understood and are helping me through it. I would definitely recommend this community to other families.
I was extremely pleased with the assistance and direction I received and will always be grateful.
Horrible experience at this facility. Had to move mom out. They represented themselves as loving and caring, especially Tara, Michelle and Jane, don’t be fooled.
