Ingleside ALF Home

This place is a house of horrors. They isolate individuals who are not who people want to look at. They defrost their meat on the counter top and serve only pork and chicken so you can see the blood from the defrosted meat with the meat just”marinating” in the blood. They serve the cheapest food in the market. The food served was 99.9%. Horrible. People urinating at will where they want. I shared a bathroom with six other people. And one man would urinate all over the bathroom. They couldn’t control the environment. It was way over priced. They claim to have suites. It’s an outright lie. The staff, Marinel, salvation, Ruby were great. The director would be lost without Marinel. The house dr., Dr Singh was a joke. I have severe back pain and he REFUSED do do an MRI on me. Once I left and moved to Lakeland I found a pain and spine dr sent me immediately for MRI OF THORACIC AND LUMBAR. I have several things wrong with my back. Dr. Singh was incompetent in my opinion. I had five UTI’s during my stay. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in a place like this.. It’s crawling with huge roaches. In the kitchen too. Totally unclean. People were made to shower only when family was coming to visit or take them out of there for awhile. I was independent so required no help. I taught myself to walk without any assistance and climb their very steep stairs. When I got there they had no problem with me having a walker to carry up and down the stairs but soon it became a problem so that’s when I decided to teach myself to walk up and down the stairs. The chairlift was a pain in the neck for them to transport people. DO NOT PUT A LOVED ONE IN THIS PLACE. No activities to do the videos shown are of the staff dancing. Everyone else sat in a comatose manner watching a tv with nature flicks only. I spent my time in my overpriced room or outside for peace from the chaos. I will nightmares for the rest of my life over this place. My jerk of a husband put me there so he could have a break. I am currently in divorce proceedings and revoked him as my POA changing it to my sister.

Ingleside ALF Home is staffed by loving caregivers and offers an exceptionally clean, well-appointed home environment. The owner, Era McGill, and her entire team are kind, organized, and resourceful. The homes she manages are fully remodeled, truly beautiful, and remarkably welcoming. When my parents were hospitalized, Era and her team visited them in the hospital, coordinated directly with clinicians, arranged transportation, and ultimately managed their care with a level of professionalism, efficiency, and warmth that exceeded every expectation. Our family feels truly blessed to have found Ingleside ALF Home, both for the compassionate care provided to our parents and for the thoughtful, attentive partnership shown to our family throughout the process.
