Ask about this communityHilda's Home Care ALF is in Tampa, Florida. Directory listings describe it as an assisted-living community with memory care; some also classify it as a residential care home or board-and-care home, so the terminology varies. One listing reports a capacity of six residents and gives assisted-living license/certification number 11663. Shared and private rooms are listed, and rooms are described as furnished and equipped with telephones. These details indicate a small residential setting, though the listings do not explain how rooms are assigned.
Care profiles list round-the-clock supervision and help with daily activities, including bathing, dressing and transfers. Medication management and coordination with residents’ health care providers are also listed. Other named services include memory care, incontinence care, non-ambulatory care, diabetic care and high-acuity care. Together, these listings cover support with personal routines, mobility and health-related needs, but do not explain how services are assessed or arranged. Respite or short-term stays are listed as well, including a respite program. The different care labels used by directories do not clarify whether they reflect different services or differences in terminology.
Meals are prepared and served in a dining room. Listings mention both scheduled meals and all-day dining, without specifying serving hours. Dietary accommodations include vegetarian and kosher meals, allergy-sensitive options, diabetes diets and other special dietary restrictions. Wheelchair-accessible features and accessible showers are listed, along with bathtubs. These practical details describe the dining arrangements and some features relevant to residents with mobility or dietary needs; the listings do not specify how individual meal preferences are handled.
Indoor and outdoor common areas, a garden and walking paths provide shared spaces around the home. Movie nights and community-sponsored activities are listed among the options for residents’ daily routines. Housekeeping and laundry service are also included in directory amenities. An emergency alert system and move-in coordination are listed, though the profiles do not describe how the alert system works or what move-in coordination includes. The listings also do not provide an activity calendar or details about how often events take place.
Transportation is listed, with one profile specifying that it is available at cost; resident parking is also noted. The property is described as convenient to public transit, although routes and stops are not identified. Nearby reference points include a pharmacy about one and a half miles away and Florida Orthopaedic Institute about two miles away. A McDonald’s is listed about 0.8 miles away, while St. Paul Catholic Church is roughly 4.8 miles away. These distances offer general neighborhood context, but the listings do not say whether residents use community transportation to reach these places.

Hilda's Place is a breath of fresh air! The home is immaculate, the residents are obviously well cared for and the staff is attentive and kind. They treat the residents as if they were family. I use Hilda's for respite care and the staff has always been accommodating. The home is fully equipped to meet the needs of the elderly and they are diligent in administering medication. Meals are nutritious and they provide snacks and three full meals. I would recommend Hilda's for quality elder care.
