You can walk and it's about a mile to the grocery store and other shops and to church walking, so I don't need a car. They have three meals a day. They do laundry, and they clean the room once a week. They allow me to smoke out of the veranda outside. They could provide extra care if I needed it. The staff is friendly. I'm in Emmanuel Care Assisted Living facility. I just have my own room, and there are six rooms. It's a house. I like that it's in a neighborhood. You can walk and it's about a mile to the grocery store and other shops and to church walking, so I don't need a car. They have three meals a day. They do laundry, and they clean the room once a week. They allow me to smoke out of the veranda outside. They could provide extra care if I needed it. The staff is friendly. Cleanliness and upkeep are good. I have food here and it's better than some and it varies from day to day. Sometimes, they're like a four, and some days, it's more like a three or a two for food. We can play cards and they play bingo occasionally, but most of the activity is watching TV.
Crazy owner
The staff is experienced, they care and the owner is on top of everyone. This facility is located at 4385 Flax Rd. in Palm Beach Gardens. My Mom seems to be only resident that wants to do more than sit and watch TV. They sometimes play cards. but not enough. I would highly recommend checking this facility out. They celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas with the families of the residents.
