4.5 · 46 reviewsI am truly fed up. The condition of the kitchen is disgusting and completely unacceptable. This water was being served to residents in their coffee, and the coffee pots are visibly filthy. Many of the machines in the kitchen appear extremely dirty and poorly maintained. This is a serious health and safety concern. Residents should never be served anything prepared with unsanitary equipment. The lack of cleanliness in the kitchen is alarming and needs to be addressed immediately.

I had the pleasure of visiting Dayspring and was truly moved by the warmth, care, and intentionality behind everything they do. The environment is not only clean and well-maintained, but it also feels like a place where residents are genuinely valued and supported. From the moment I walked in, I could see the heart behind the mission. The team is compassionate, knowledgeable, and clearly committed to creating a safe, dignified, and enriching space for their residents. As someone who works in the care industry, I don’t take these things lightly. Dayspring stands out. Highly recommend to any family looking for a loving and professional environment for their loved one.
With the caveat that you have to go often to make sure they know you do come often and you are monitoring their care. We are very happy with the facility. My mother in law is happy there and the staff seem to be on top of her care. We do visit quite often so they know us but we have been happy with the facility.

My brother-in-law Mike had to live in the memory unit because of his dementia. Unlike other places, there was very little turnover in staff in the 3 years he lived there, so we got to know people by name. He was often difficult, but the staff did wonders by redirecting him, joking with him, and by just treating him with kindness. They were always quick to call us if there was a problem or if he wasn't doing well. He had his own cell phone, and communicated directly with us nearly every day. And although he liked to complain about life in general, he never once had anything bad to say about how staff members treated him. We are grateful to all of them for keeping him safe and cared for in his last years.
I toured Dayspring Senior Living. It was a gated community. They have big metal gates at the entrance. The people were nice and the place was clean. It's very nice, with big hallways, and big doors. The rooms were a little small, but the layout was very nice.
I really don't have any positive comments to say about the facility. I guess if there is an issue they try to address it promptly They need to hire more competent employees, better food, more staff, and more activities for residents.
The staff at DaySprings are truly caring, and went over and beyond my expectations when caring for my mother for 3 years until her passing. She truly enjoyed it there, and the staff were like family to her and myself. Being privately operated and not by a parent company or corporation, you have a direct line to the director anytime you need to speak to him when needs arise. You will not regret placing your loved one here.
Be cautious and keep an eye on the bill. The director is asking for more money than the daily rate for the time she has been there. We talked to him and his only concern is the money he says we owe. But ignored our questions about lack of care. When we visit, our loved one could not even get a napkin with her meal. Her grooming has not been kept up. [name removed] ignored our questions about why we were not informed of several changes, of price increases, and of inability to meet all our loved ones needs.
