Residents can choose private or companion suites. Each suite has individual climate control, basic cable, wireless internet access and an emergency pull cord. Suites may be furnished with a bed, dresser, nightstand and window treatments, or residents may bring their own furniture and décor. Bathrooms have step-in showers with slip-resistant floors and grab bars. The one-story building has handrails along its hallways. Housekeeping and linen and personal-laundry service are provided weekly; daily tasks include trash removal and bed making.

Three meals are prepared in-house each day and served in the main dining room. Menus change on a four-week cycle and include regional dishes, with low-sodium, mechanical-soft and diabetic options available. Between-meal snacks include fresh fruit, yogurt and sugar-free ice cream. Shared indoor spaces include a Florida room, a television lounge with a library nook, and a craft room that can also host family gatherings. Outdoors, a secured patio has hibiscus and potted herbs.

A life-enrichment director prepares a monthly activity calendar. Listed activities include chair yoga, Tai Chi, a walking club, bingo, painting workshops, trivia and live music from local student groups. Weekly transportation is scheduled for physician visits, banking and shopping, with trips also made to nearby destinations such as Walter Fuller Park, the Saturday Morning Market downtown and a sunset-viewing area on Treasure Island. A licensed beautician visits on Wednesdays for haircuts, beard trims and manicures. Families receive care-plan reviews every three months and can see community updates through a private online photo gallery.
