Assisted Living in Jennings, with spaces to feel at home and support for your next chapter.
Ask about this communityCarolyn Clanton ALF is an assisted living community in Jennings, Florida. Facility listings report a licensed capacity of 20 residents and identify the community as assisted living. That figure describes the licensed maximum, not a current resident count. Listed care includes help with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing and transfers, along with medication management and 24-hour supervision. The facility is in Hamilton County, and its Florida assisted living license is listed under number 13490 with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
Other recorded supports include coordination with health care providers, non-ambulatory care and wheelchair accessibility. A facility directory also records a Limited Mental Health (LMH) specialty designation. English is listed as a language spoken by caregivers or staff. The profiles do not describe how support is arranged for an individual resident or how often particular assistance is provided.
A private room is listed as an accommodation option, and room details describe furnished rooms equipped with a telephone. Move-in coordination is among the listed services, along with housekeeping and laundry or dry-cleaning service. One property listing describes the building as a home more than 100 years old. The available information does not give further details about room layouts or furnishings.
Dining information lists a dining room, meal preparation and service, and scheduled meals. The same profile records all-day dining and options for allergy-sensitive, diabetes-related and other special dietary needs. These details cover different meal schedules and dietary considerations, but do not identify specific menus or explain how individual needs are addressed.
Activity listings include arts and crafts, cooking and exercise classes, gardening, shopping, music, dancing, games or cards, theater and movies, and social events or outings. Community-sponsored activities and movie nights are also listed, along with pet therapy. A separate activity listing names happy hours, wine tastings, dances and karaoke. Walking paths and a garden are among the outdoor features, and an emergency alert system is recorded as an amenity.
Transportation is listed as a community amenity. A community profile places Trinity Community Hospital about 10 miles away, Dr. Kumar P. MD about 8.8 miles away and Chancy Drugs about 8.6 miles away. Front Porch Cafe and TA Travel Center are each listed about 6 miles away. Saint Marys Baptist Church is about 0.6 miles away, and Jennings Church of God about 1.1 miles away. A facility directory records Baptist, non-denominational Christian and Methodist religious affiliations. It also lists a bed-hold policy and Medicaid, OSS and VA-related payment entries, without detailing eligibility or current terms.

As a mom of a wonderful son with schizophrenia, who has lived in a few different ALF's, I hold Carolyn Clanton in highest esteem! Care is second to none. My son has made wonderful progress thanks to the caring and nurturing of this facility. Can't praise them enough...and a most thankful shout goes to Ms. Kay❤
The place is infested with ned bugs. Food is horrible. Owner is crazy filing false reports. Have had many reports filed against them. Staff lies, give wrong medications. Stay away from this place. Should be closed. Not handicapped accessible. Needs lots of repairs in house. Rude staff, Wifi is horrible, keeps disconnecting. Try to control residents. Medications are not given timely, they don't keep track of each medication given and the time. Night staff sleeps during work hours. Only one person status up at night. A 18 year old male. Don't send your loved one to this place.
Very comfortable and homey aswell as great staff and service!
