I toured Best Care Senior Living at Saint Joseph. The memory care units were very cramped, and they locked the doors from the outside of the room. The marketing director was great. It was multilevel. You had to go out of the main building and walk across the courtyard to get to the memory facility. The elevators were secure. The facility is okay, but it's not okay for my mom. She would not do well in a shared room. I don't know if there's anything to improve on besides, still being able to have some private rooms.
Everything was good about Best Care Senior Living at Saint Joseph. The only thing I didn't like too much about it was that they didn't accept my grandfather's benefits because he only received $900 and everything there was from $4000 and up, but they helped a lot in figuring things out to look for other places for him. So, they were great. The facility was clean. The building was a nice structure. It had a nice atmosphere. It was calm. They had nice-sized rooms. They were pretty big.

What a beautiful building and a great staff!
My father has been at the facility for about a year now and they have made it very easy. It’s clean and all the staff are very nice. My father has made a ton of friends and is very happy there.
This place is well organized and clean. Residents are calm and happy. Always have activities everyday to keep them active and busy. The whole crew is very helpful and caring. I would recommend this place and i’m confident your love one’s well be taking care off🥰.
I didn't like anything about Best Care Senior Living at Saint Joseph. It looked like they put people with mental health issues with people that don't have mental health issues. They had people sitting all cluttered up in one area. They were watching this one TV and it was not a good environment. I don't recommend putting my dad in this place. They had this one area where a couple of people were sitting in there, and one of the guys threw the ball over the fence and he yelled at me. He said, "Nobody wants to play with me." I went ahead and I got the ball and gave the ball to the attendant who was emptying the trash. It looked like a psychiatric facility. I didn't like where it was located also because that was located right there on Doctor Martin Luther King Boulevard. There's a whole bunch of traffic going on in this place. The pictures make it look phenomenal, but these are pictures with nobody in it. This was the worst place that I visited. All of their rooms were shared rooms and the rooms are so small that you can reach over from your bed and touch the other person in their bed. That's no way to live with a stranger.
I wish there was a place to put 0 stars. I filed a complaint because my relatives clothing and other items was stolen from this facility. While trying to find them another facility to be switched too! The staff has decided to retaliate against me due to the complaint. Since I have been forced to continue going inside this building to care for my relatives. I have had the director go off on me. The nurses tried to lock me inside the building. My relatives stuff continues to disappear slowly but surely. This is a disgusting assisted living facility and environment for you or your loved ones to have to endure. DO NOT BRING YOUR RELATIVES TO THIS PLACE!
