Arbor Hills

I have lived at Arbor Hills for 8 months now and am very happy here. The other residents are all friendly and welcoming. Caitland, activity director, keeps interesting activities and entertainment schedules. If you get bored it is your own fault! My daughter picked this place out. She went all over town looking for a place for me. I lived in a similar place in Portland, OR. The food here is outstanding and all the employees go out of their way to be helpful and nice. The apartments are very clean and rest of the building is kept in pristine condition. They have a little beauty salon downstairs that I use regularly. I do not have a car so is wonderful to have the service here at home. They also have a big bus and take us shopping every Monday for groceries or to Walmart. Their van is used for doctor appointments at no charge to us. There are big hospitals and clinics down the street. There are numerous clinics and doctors nearby. The building is very secure and built like a fortress. The windows are reenforced with steel and during the last hurricane we were very safe. There is another building down the street that takes care of us when we can’t do for ourselves anymore. Arbor Hills will be my home as long as I need it to be. No more moving for me!

This place is such an amazing place. I walked in and instantly feel in love with it especially the ice cream parlor. The receptionist there is amazing and so is the residents. Sarah is so nice when she does the tours. She explains everything in detail and your are welcomes with a smile. If you are looking for a independent place to place a loved one that’s the place you should look into.

I like the Arbor Hills Independent Living. It was very pleasant, the rooms were fantastic, and overall a nice apartment building. The public areas were very open. They looked nice and didn't look shabby or have this old feeling about it. People were also happy. They have a dining room and a nice menu that the residents could choose from. They had a barber shop and hair salon. They also have an ice cream parlor. They have nice areas for families too. They have a place for you to have family over. It's like a meeting room with a kitchen and tables, and it overlooks the lake. They have places where you can meet with friends, too. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The reason that it's not my first choice is because it doesn't have a pool and I don't like the parking. I want a pool because swimming is the only exercise I like.

I toured Arbor Hills Independent Living. It's clean, it's new, and the apartments are large. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. They showed you around and answered all your questions. They do have an outdoor space.
