We chose Angels Forever for my aunt because of recommendations from friends, and also we were able to go into the place and inspect it, and we liked it. It's clean, and it looked nice. The staff has been good. Her room is average sized, and it's got a walk-in closet, a dresser, a nightstand, TV, windows, and full of light. It's a house. It doesn't have an institutional feel. It's built for taking care of elderly people. They only have six residents at a time.
Para mi no es una casa de cuidado de personas mayores , es un segundo hogar , la casa es limpia , acogedora y se respira un aire de paz ,amor y armonìa , no hubiese encontrado un mejor lugar para mi padre y vivir tranquila dejàndolo en manos de personas que son àngeles en la tierra , que bendiciòn haber encontrado èsta casa , siempre estarè infinitamente agradecida . There was only 1 private room left which they were asking $2500 for but were willing to leave it at $2000. The room had a dresser, old tube tv and an old love seat that pulls out into a bed. The only activity that was mentioned was bingo. Most of the residents were watching TV. I did not like the neighborhood and it was next to an airport. The impression I was left with is that it was just a money making business. I did not see any love.
The ladies who took care of my mother in law were great! My mother in law lived there for a little over a year (She had Alzheimer's). We could not have been happier with the care she received. The ladies who took care of her, made home cook meals and were very caring. I would trust them to take care of any other family member or friend who may find themselves in the same situation.
