My grandmother has been here since before the company change. With this new American House, events are constantly posted, but most aren't hosted or done. Billiards has no one show up to host, there's movie night with no movie being put on, and the current chair yoga host is always late. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from the company.

Terrible place would highly not recommend putting your loved one here. It’s constantly understaffed with workers really late coming to give residents any medication they may need. The food they serve is really below average with some things not even edible. They may make everything sound nice but it’s very deceiving once your loved one is a resident here. Stay clear away from Beach House assisted living.

Simply Amazing! Moved my Mom in 3 weeks ago and that experience has been amazing. She is so much happier since she has become friends with other ladies who live there, meals are prepared for her 3 times a day (7 days a week), she no longer has to worry about maintaining her home and so much more. This change has been perfect for her. If you are looking into Assisted Living or Memory Care for someone, do yourself a HUGE favor and stop in for a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Beach House is the best place for memory care assisted living in the Land-O-Lakes / Wesley Chapel area! Unfortunately, there can be a waiting list to get in, but it is well worth the wait! I would recommend them to any family who truly cares about their parent’s happiness and well-being. We toured the five main memory care facilities in the area and ended up putting our mom at our second choice which had a little higher rating then Beach House due to availability. This ended up being a disaster. The place was militant and abusive and we could not get our mother out of their fast enough. She would cry every time we visited her and looked sleep deprived and exhausted. The staff never even took the time to learn her name. Then, we got a call from Beach House several days before we planned on moving our mom back home with us. It was a God send. Bonnie, the Executive Director had kept us on the waiting list, even though I let her know that we had moved our mom in elsewhere. They had two rooms come available at the same time. They turned the room around in two days and let us move our mom in on a Sunday straight from the other MC facility. We visited our mom every couple of days and she loved it there. Every resident is treated like family! Even the families are treated like family! Traci, the Wellness Director knew the urgency of the situation we were in with our mom and made the move quick and seamless. I have never seen an organization so loving, professional, and committed to their mission as Beach House. There are no uncommitted or mediocre employees working there. Everyone from every department, every shift, is truly outstanding, always worked as a team, and became our extended family. They provided her more love, better care, and independence than we could when she lived at home with us! Our mom’s room had commercial carpet in it which made it feel more like a home, than the vinyl flooring all of the competitors had which gave their rooms more of a cold hospital feel. Carla, the Director of Memory Care makes sure the memory care residents are well taken care of and spoiled! She takes them on field trips, restaurant outings, and has beauty days for the ladies. Our mom was always well dressed, well groomed, had her chin hairs plucked and her nails painted. LOL. The MC residents have the freedom and independence to join in the numerous activities, sit outside, or just roam around their area and visit friends. They have an enormous amount of freedom and choices to do what they want on any given day. Our mom was content in her new home and never once complained or mentioned about returning to her prior home of 60 years which was daily when she lived with us. Some of the memory care residents living here have been here for years, others for months. Our mom ended up being here for a short while since she was already on hospice care when she arrived. We had the blessing of watching the staff routinely care for our mom and provide her with such happiness for two good weeks until she had a severe stroke. We were afraid they would kick her out and make us move her to a nursing home. They did not, instead they ramped up the love and care and shared the grief with us as our mom spent her final week passing from this world. Our family is eternally grateful for all of Beach House staff, each and every one of them, care givers, food service, housekeeping, and even the building maintenance staff who made this place a loving home for our mom and our family during this time. Should the time come when I need to be placed in assisted living or memory care, I hope this place is still around. I could live my final days here with dignity and happiness for sure. It is such a pleasure to work with the staff at Beach house. Beach house is a beautiful place and residents are loved and care for so well. Beach house would be my first choice for my family members who might need to be in assisted living one day. I encourage anyone with loved ones who might need an ALF to check out Beach house.
